Joe C. Garcia

GARCIA - Joe C. Garcia, 79, passed away surrounded by his loving family September 12, 2010. He was born September 14, 1930 to his parents, Francisco and Rachel Garcia in Dawson and raised in Raton, NM. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was pre-deceased by his wife, Dulcie Sena Garcia and a sister, Frances Arellano. He is survived by his loving family; daughter, Susan Gonzales and husband, Robert; two grandchildren, Frank Gonzales and Bobby Gonzales; great grandchild, Colby Gonzales; his siblings, Freddy Garcia and wife, Martha; Manuel Garcia and wife, Lena, and Mary Aglialoro and husband, Alfred; brother-in-law, Alex Arellano, and many extended family members. A Visitation will be held Thursday, September 16, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., a Rosary will be recited at 10:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, 5712 Paradise Blvd NW, Albuquerque, NM. Interment will follow at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 7500 Paseo Del Norte NE, Albuquerque, NM. The family would like to express a special thanks to Zia Hospice, especially Becky and Cori.
