Joe John

John died March 10, 2010, in Gallup. He was born July 18, 1930. John worked for the railroad, Rico Ranch, Hamilton Brothers, Holiday Inn and Red Rock Chapter as a carpenter. He enjoyed ranching and working with horses. Survivors include his wife, Marie John of Twin Buttes; sons, Albert John, Johnathan Jack of Twin Buttes; daughters, Lola Yazzie of Rocky Point, Isabelle John of Sundance, Lillian Yazzie, Lucinda John, Gwendolyn John, Josephine Garcia, all of Twin Buttes; brother, Nelson Johnson of Cousins; sisters, Della Begay of Twin Buttes, Louise Cadman of Twin Buttes, Rose Joe of Cousins; 25 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren. John was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Mary Billy; sons, Robert John, Marklyn John; one grandson. Pallbearers will be Albert John, Randy Mann, Ernest Begay, Edward Cadman, Dennison Cadman, Tim Benally. The family will receive relatives and friends at Grace Baptist Church, Mentmore, following services.
