Joey Nicholas Chavez was called to Heaven on July 25, 2019 after a beautiful life here with his family, friends and any other lucky stranger he would meet. He was born June 13, 1957 . He was preceded in death by his loving parents Nick and Rose Chavez. He is survived by 5 siblings, 3 beautiful children and 10 grandchildren and countless other family and friends. All of whom he adored and cherished. Children & Grandchildren: Jovanna Tellez ( Bryan Tellez); Lilyana, Bayley & Bristan. Jeremy Chavez (Michelle Chavez); Brylee & Jeremiah. Jessica Farley (Danny Farley);Jonathaon, Jacob, Keely, Cody, and Boyd. It was worth every second knowing him and we will strive hard in life until we meet again.
Viewing will be at 12:30 PM prior to a Rosary recitation at 1:00 PM on Saturday, August 3, 2019, St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1502 Sara Road, Rio Rancho, NM 87124. Mass immediately following.
Inurnment will take place on August 23, 2019 at 11:00 a.m., Vista Verde Memorial Park, 4310 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124.
