John Clarence Clark Jr., 85, a proud resident of Albuquerque New Mexico, passed away on February 28, 2023, of natural causes.
John was born on January 01, 1938, to John & Luzell in Dayton, Ohio. After High school in Ohio, he went on to a fulfilling career as a Master sergeant of 19 years in the Airforce. With his service record he has received a bronze star, air force commendation, airmen medal, national defense service medal, Vietnam service medals as well as many others including oak leaf clusters.
Proceeding his military career, he served as a VA policeman sergeant of 20 years. His service impacted many lives and saved several. He dedicated his life to serve his community and country. He will be honored in life and death.
In the late 1950s, he met his beloved wife Deloris Reeves and went on to raise 1 son, John C. Clark III. His family meant everything to him. He was a loving husband and father.
In his retirement he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends as well as recreational time off at the casino. As a loyal free Mason, he helped wherever he could. He will surely be missed.
John is proceeded in death by his mother and father John & Luzell Clark. His sister Sondra Kirby. Also proceeded by his loving wife Deloris Clark.
He will be survived by his son John C. Clark III and his wife Renee Clark. Brother-in-law C. Benjamin Kirby. Nieces and nephew, Craig Benjamin Kirby, Cameron Killian and HeavenNez Cree “Cindy”. His grandchildren Brianna Vigil, Brooke Lopez and Ben Lopez. Lastly, he will be survived and missed by his great grandchildren JJ, MaiMai, Pey, Lexi, Belle, & MiMi.
A Graveside Service will take place Friday, March 10, 2023 at 12:30 PM at Fairview Memorial Park located at 700 Yale Blvd SE, Albuquerque, NM 87106.
