John T. Deuel

John T. Deuel, age 69, parted from this life on  December 16, 2021.  He was born October 19, 1952 to John and Ida Deuel in Bernalillo, New Mexico.  Johnny, as he was called by his family and friends, grew up and graduated from Bernalillo High School, class of 1970.  He graduated from Diesel Mechanics School in Denver, Colorado.  He was a truck driver for most of his life.  He moved to Alaska and became an ice road trucker for many years before moving back to New Mexico.  He enjoyed sharing stories of his truck driving days and time growing up with his little brother.  Johnny was known for being a kind-hearted and caring person who would give you the shirt off his back if you ever needed it.  He was always up for a good joke or laugh and never took life too seriously.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Ida Deuel; and nephew, Anthony Jacquez.

Johnny is survived by his wife Kimberly; children, Natasha, Miles, Shonnalee and Erin; eight grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Ronald and Jennifer Deuel; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.

Johnny will be greatly missed by his loved ones.

A Memorial Service in celebration of Johnny's life will be held on February 3, 2022, 10:00 a.m., Daniels Family Funeral Services, 7601 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109.
