John Joseph Romano

John Joseph Romano, 67, a resident of Albuquerque for a total of 32 years, went Home to the Lord on Wednesday, October 11, 2023. He is survived by his dear wife and best friend, Joy; adult children: Jenn Romano of Albuquerque, Jessi Pauley and her husband BJ Pauley of Charleston, WV, and John A. Romano of Albuquerque. His two grandchildren, Noah and Lily Romano live with their Dad, John A. in Albuquerque as well.

John has been an active member of his beloved church, Calvary West since it opened, as a part of the traffic team. He has trained at Global One Defense and is a licensed Ham Radio operator.

John retired last year from working in the insurance industry for over 25 years. He loved spending time on the beach in San Diego with Joy, playing card games with his grandchildren, and attending his weekly Bible study.

John was a steadfast warrior and protector of his family, and a true servant of the Lord always. We cannot express how much he will be missed in everyone’s life he touched.

Services will be held at Calvary West on Thursday, October 19, 2023 at 10.am. Reception to follow.
