John Edward Rutledge

John Edward Rutledge, age 85, of Albuquerque, passed away Monday, March 30, 2020 of natural causes in his home. John was the son of Birch and Lucy Rutledge, and grew up in South Carolina, graduating from University High School.  He served in the US Air Force and was a member of the Knights of Columbus.  He enjoyed watching his "fighting gamecocks" football, listening to Elvis Presley, and fishing.  He enjoyed watching Jeopardy and spending time with his dog Tuffy.  He is survived by his three children, Carmen Rutledge, John "Brian" Rutledge, Ann Marie Rutledge; grandchildren and great grandchildren.
