Johnny Orion Cappelli

  Johnny Orion Cappelli, 53, of Albuquerque, NM, passed unexpectedly at home on November 7th, 2025. Johnny was born in Albuquerque, NM, on April 19th, 1972, to the late Johnny Anthony Garcia and is survived by his mom, Gloria Victoria Garcia. Johnny’s career was spent in law enforcement, and Johnny recently received accolades as Investigator of the Year as a Special Agent for the 13th Judicial District Attorney’s Office. Friends and family will remember Johnny for his personable nature, unique sense of humor, and his passion for automobiles and weightlifting. Johnny is survived by his sister Kathy (Mark) Long, his baby sister Andrea (Glen) Harvey, brothers Anthony and Oracio Garcia, his niece Sharon Garcia, Uncle Ralph and Auntie Mary, all living in-state. Johnny is also survived by his nephew Mark Joseph (Solange) Long and his great-niece Logan, living in Maryland. He was preceded in death by his niece Fallon Victoria and is survived by great-nephews Manny and Connor of Maryland, as well as numerous cousins and extended family. A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
