GARCIA-Jonathan S. Garcia (Jon), born January 9, 1977, died unexpectedly January 2, 2009, at the age of 31. He was born in Richland, Washington, and raised in Los Alamos, New Mexico. He is survived by his wife Michelle and daughter, Ashlyn, of Rio Rancho; mother, Teresa Salazar-Kerstiens and step-father, Lyle Kerstiens of Santa Fe; father, Sammy R. Garcia and companion Kelley Keresey of Rio Rancho; sister, Jennifer A. Garcia of Santa Fe; step-brother, Eron Kerstiens and wife Teri of Santa Fe; step-sister, Erica Kerstiens of Albuquerque; grandparents, Salomon and Flora Salazar; grandparents, Rosendo and Ida Garcia; aunts and uncles, Michael Salazar (Rosalie); Gloria Salazar-Shuttles (Robert); Jose Salazar; Ross Garcia (Kathy); Dianne Roybal (Phillip); parents-in-law, Ted and Ute Boe; mother-in-law, Marianne Boe; brother-in-law, Brian Boe; brother-in-law Jeff Boe and fianc�?©e Tina Francis; close friends Charles Gentry and Michelle Gomez; numerous nieces and nephews, great-aunts and uncles, cousins; and many friends who all loved him and will miss him. Jon was a devoted husband and he cherished his daughter. Jon will always be remembered as a dreamer for a good life for his family. He had a broad circle of friends and had the ability to become friends with anyone. He had a passion for the Kansas City Chiefs, snow-boarding, mud-bogging, fishing, camping, and boating and he never missed an opportunity to go to Elephant Butte Lake. Cremation has taken place.
