Jose F. Sr. Anaya

ANAYA- Jose Francisco Anaya Sr.,82, loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 12, 2011. Jose Sr. was born to Atanacio Sr.and Elvera Chavez Anaya Anaya on May 21, 1928 in Albuquerque, NM. Jose Sr. proudly served in the United States Marine Corps; retired from the USPS; Mayadormo at San Jose De Duranes for 20 years. Jose Sr. is preceded in death by his son, Raymond D. Anaya. He is survived by his beloved wife Maxine Anaya of 57 years; his loving children, Jose F. Anaya Jr. and wife Pauline, Jerry A. Anaya Sr. and wife Marlene and Rosemary K. Archuleta and husband Philip; his sisters, Trini Trujillo and husband Pat, Frances Sanchez and husband Ermineo, Loretta Chavez, brother, Atanacio Anaya Jr. and wife Susan; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and numerous other family and friends. Jose Sr. will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. A Visitation will take place at San Jose De Duranes Catholic Church, 2110 Los Luceros NW. Tuesday, March 15, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. followed by a Rosary at 7:00 p.m.; Mass of Christian Burial will take place Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at 8:00 a.m. also at San Jose De Duranes Catholic Church.
