Jose Luis De La Paz Jr.
Jose Luis De La Paz, Age 17, went home to be with our Lord and Savior Thursday, January 19, 2012. He was born February 17, 1994, to his parents Carmen and Jose De La Paz Sr. in Juarez, Mexico.
Jose is survived by his beautiful daughter, Josefina; his loving parents, Carmen and Jose De la Paz Sr.; girlfriend, Jazmin Garcia; brother, Francisco; sisters, Rita, Elizabeth and Guadalupe; grandmother, Rita Razo; grandfather, Jose Lopez; grandfather, Felix De la Paz; grandmother, Modesta Martinez; and by numerous family members and friends.
He filled the sky with his energy every day, being strong, caring, and loving. He never missed a day to hang out, especially with so many family and friends; and boy, did he have a lot of them. He shared his light with the world indefinitely. He was a protector, a warrior for God, and he did just that. He was a big brother, a loving son, and soon to be dad. His daughter will now carry on his light, with him at her side. Jose will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
A Visitation will take place at St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church, 820 Broadway Blvd. SE Tuesday, January 24, 2011 from 8:00 am to 9:00 am followed by Mass at 9:00am with a reciting of the Rosary at 10:00 am; Interment will follow at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery.
