Jose Amos Roybal, beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 2, 2019 in Albuquerque, NM after a long, courageous battle with cancer. He left this world in the company of the Lord and His angels.
Jose was born on November 16, 1944 in Sargent, CO. He served in the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged from the United States Army. He was a veteran who served his country proudly. After the service, he moved to Albuquerque, NM where he met his lovely, beloved wife, Patricia Roybal, whom he was married to for over 48 years. They proudly had one son, Michael A. Roybal.
Jose is preceded in death by his parents, Corelio and Richarda Roybal; and sister, Thelma Gallegos.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia, and son, Michael (Lori) Roybal; 2 grandchildren, Michael R. Roybal and Ariel L. Roybal; 2 brothers, Frank (Corrine) Roybal and Bonnie (Anita) Roybal; 2 sisters, Freda Vasquez and Loretta Olmstead; and many nieces and nephews.
He was kind, loving, generous, and his passion was for his grandkids whom he followed and supported until the day he passed. He will be missed deeply by everyone. To view information or leave a condolence please visit www.danielsfuneral.com.
