Jose A. Medina

MEDINA - Jose A. Medina, 98, went home to be with our Lord and Savior Saturday, November 6, 2010. Jose was born in Durango, Mexico on August 28, 1912. Jose was with the United States Postal services for 36 years before he retired. Jose honorably and bravely served in the United States Army during WW II. Jose was a dedicated member of the National Letter Carriers Association; VFW 401 and American Legion Post 99. Jose enjoyed spending time at the casino. Jose is survived by his loving son Robert Brady; one grandchild Audrey Fuller; and numerous other family, friends, and neighbors. Jose was preceded in death by his beloved wife Emma Medina of 68 years; and eight sisters and brothers. Jose will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 1818 Coal Pl SE. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
