Padilla, Jose Melecio
Age 94, passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2018. He was born in Trementina, NM to Nocario and Adela Padilla.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Ramon Perfecto Padilla; brothers, Perfecto Andres Padilla and Miguel Padilla; sister, Maria Ernestina Padilla; brothers-in-law, Manuel Baca and Jose Martinez.
Jose is survived by sons, Santiago Padilla and Joe Padilla; daughters, Debbie Padilla and Denise Marie Torres (James); five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters: Maria Emma Baca, Lugarda Jaramillo (Adrian), Virginia Martinez; brothers: Rafael Padilla (Ruth), Zoilo Padilla (Karen), Simon Padilla.
A Rosary will be recited Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. followed by a Mass at 11:00 a.m. at Queen of Heaven, 5311 Phoenix Ave NE, Albuquerque, NM. Interment will be Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at 11:15 a.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery, 501 N. Guadalupe St, Santa Fe, NM.
