Jose Cris Prespentt

Jose Cris Prespentt, 81, of Blanco, died on Wednesday, June 8, 2011, in Farmington. He was born May 18, 1930, in Blanco, to Patricio Prespentt and Regina Chavez Masters. Cris attended Old Blanco Schools in Blanco. He served his county in the U.S. Army, where he made life long friendships that flourished to this day. Cis had many passions during his life, such as gardening, horse racing, playing cards and dominos and camping. His greatest passion was visiting with his compadres, bros, friends and family. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 56 years, Vera Martinez Prespentt; his parents; sisters, Josie and Mary; grandparents, and one great-grandchild. He is survived by sons, Chris and Pat; daughters Dolores and Darlens; brother Vincent; sisters, Patsy and Brenda; 17 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
