Joseph T Ruszenas
Joseph T. Ruszenas, age 82, passed away peacefully and amongst family on May 13th, 2016. He is survived by his soul mate and wife of 40 years, Mary. Joe was born in Griswold, CT on September 18th 1933 and served his country in the 19th Infantry Division during the Korean War from July 1954 to May 1956. He retired from the Federal Aviation Administration in Boston in 1988. He and Mary moved to Albuquerque in 1996. He will be missed by the children and grandchildren that he helped raise.
In our hearts and minds, Joe's presence will forever linger. The significance of which he influenced the lives of those around him resonates on a profound level. His very spirit encouraged healing and growth while his smile eased any suffering we might have endured. He was a man of unadulterated integrity; a man who understood and implemented the simplicity of giving freely and loving unconditionally. His memory stands as an example to us all , a genuine insight into an illustrious soul that stood for all that we strive to be in this life. Although, he has left us, we may count ourselves fortunate for having known him. To the man who redefined the principles and practices of everyday life. May you rest in peace as we carry your legacy with us forevermore to guide us.
The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph on The Rio Grande Church on Tuesday May 24, 2016 at 9:00 am, with interment to follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 2:15 pm.
