Joseph Sky Benavides

Joseph Sky Benavides passed away on September 25, 2022, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was born on December 9, 1995, in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Ted Kevin Benavides and Sheleena Lynn Goss.

Joseph graduated from Cibola High School in 2014 and has been a mechanic for the past 7 years. His passion was working on cars and trucks since he was in high school. He said he was living his dream job, while working as a 24-hour mobile mechanic. He was also a tattoo artist, loved the mountains, loved his pets and enjoyed riding his motorcycle.  

Joseph is survived by his father, Ted; mother, Sheleena; son, Sky; brothers, Jared, Voivod, Cyrus, and Dexter; and his sister, Vinencia.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2022, 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM, Daniels Family Funeral Services - Wyoming Chapel, 7601 Wyoming Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109.

Burial will take place at 1:30 PM, Vista Verde Memorial Park, 4310 Sara Rd, Rio Rancho, NM 87124.

Joseph was loved by many family and friends.
