Joseph Monty Sweeney

Sweeney, Joseph Monty Age 30, was born in Santa Fe, NM and was a resident of Albuquerque. He lost his battle to cancer on Wednesday, January 30, 2013, while surrounded by his loving family. Our beloved Monty is survived by his loving parents Randy and Yolanda Montoya; his loving brother and sisters, Del Sweeney, Felicia Sweeney, Marissa Sweeney (Camron Rael); step-brother, Jason Montoya and wife Amanda; step-sister, Jackie Brazil and husband Brian; very special niece, Alexis "Baby" Sweeney; nephew, Trace Montoya; his very special grandmother, Clara Rodriguez (# 1 momma). Monty has many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family. Monty touched every heart that came across his path. He will be greatly missed by all. On behalf of the family, they wish to extend they're sincere appreciation to Presbyterian Hospital Staff, Doctors, Nurses, and to Presbyterian Kaseman's Oncology Department; your care for Monty was amazing. Visitation will be Monday, February 4, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 9502 Fourth St., NW, where a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Service of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at 9:00 am at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Del Sweeney, Adam Gomez, Jerome Jaramillo, Camron Rael, Joseph Montoya and Chance McCoy. Honorary Bearers will be Yvette Rodriguez, Joe Dubriel and Josh Rodriguez.
