ROMO-Josephine Romo, a resident of Albuquerque, NM went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Tuesday, September 7, 2010. Josephine was born December 6, 1915 in Dawson, NM. Josephine is survived by her loving sons, Thomas Richard Romo; David George Romo and wife Mary Ann and Joseph Alfred Romo and wife Gloria; her precious grandchildren, Justo Manuel Romo, Jocinda Ann Romo, Katrina Ann Romo, Angelique Joy Romo and Andrea Noel Romo; great grandchildren, Alicia Romo, Tessia Lucinda Romo and Yuri Justin Romo and numerous other friends and family. Josephine is preceded in death by her parents Santiago and Veneranda Herrera; brother Santiago Herrera; and sisters Vera Chavez and Priscilla Maldonado. Josephine was a faithful member of Immaculate Conception Church for over 40 years. Josephine was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and took great pride in her life career as a housewife. She wanted nothing more then to make everyone happy. Josephine will be missed by all who knew and loved her. There will be a viewing Friday September 10, 2010 in the 8Th Street Chapel of Garcia Mortuary at 6:00 p.m. with a reciting of the Rosary to follow 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, Saturday September 11, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 619 Copper Ave. NW, with interment to follow Mass at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers are, David Romo, Joseph Romo, Justo Romo, Thomas Romo, Andrea Romo and Angelique Romo. Josephine’s care has been entrusted to: Garcia Mortuary 717 Stover S.W.
