Josephine Fita"" Stevens

STEVENS - Josephine “Fita” Stevens, age 84, beloved mother, grandmother and sister, passed away peacefully while surrounded by her family, Monday, May 24, 2010. She was born in Corrales, NM and was a resident of Albuquerque. Fita enjoyed traveling worldwide, but her favorite the road trips in New Mexico. She enjoyed TV Shows, Price is Right, Wheel of Fortune; and Wednesdays at the Casino. After Fita’s traveling days, she spent most of her time reading the daily newspaper and working on crossword puzzles. Fita will be greatly missed by all. Fita is survived by her children, Louella Galbiso, Josephine Galbiso Martinez and husband Arthur, David Galbiso, Mary Jane Galbiso and companion Daryl Qualls, Sydney “Isabel” Galbiso Aschert and husband Frank, Danny Galbiso and Elisa “Lisa” Diana Galbiso McDowell; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; her brother Manuel Gurule; sisters, Rosalia Baca and husband Louie, Mary S. Gurule all of Alameda; numerous extended relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services �?¯�?¿�?½�?¯�?¿�?½“ Alameda Mortuary. Service of Christian Burial will be Friday at 10:00 a.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church.
