Joyce Earl

Earl, Joyce Langford Joyce Langford Earl, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, died on Saturday, June 28, 2014. Joyce was born on June 12, 1928, in Globe, Arizona. She spent most of her youth in Utah. She learned to love New Mexico after moving here in 1967. Joyce was an administrative secretary with Albuquerque Public Schools for 25 years and was well-loved and respected. She worked with the New Mexico State Legislature for several years after retiring. Joyce had a life-long love of music. She was an accomplished pianist and traveled with a band in her younger years, before marriage. She also had a life-long love of language and books which she imparted to her family. Joyce was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Charles Jay Earl. She is survived by her children Cydney Earl, Kevin Earl and Lezlee Murphey; by her grandchildren Andrew Aranda, William Aranda, Hunter Earl, Matthew Sanders, Kirstin Murphey, Sarah Murphey and by her great-grandson Gavin Sanders. A celebration of her life will be held at a future date.
