Joyce McHenry

McHenry - Joyce Imogene McHenry (aka Jean), 77, of Albuquerque NM, passed away early morning December 15th, 2009. She was born on July 3rd, 1932, in Waurika Oklahoma, the daughter of Jim and Lottie Bivens. Jean was the 2nd of 7 siblings. She married her loving husband Samuel McHenry in 1956. She is survived by daughters Karen Hendricks, Donna Chicago, Roberta Wright, of Albuquerque, and Shirley Hammond of Henderson NV. Jean is also survived by grandchildren Chris Chicago of Springhill TN, Kevin Hendricks and Beth Chicago, of Albuquerque, Mindi Carlson and Marissa Hammond of Henderson TN and Great grandchildren Johnathan O'brian and Brody Hendricks of Albuquerque, Penelope & Sophia Hendricks-Montez of Roswell, and Siren Joy Hammond of Henderson, NV. She was a loving wife, mother, and friend to all. Jean had many talents such as painting, grooming dogs, and especially baking. She will be greatly missed. Jean's service will be held at Ridgecrest Christian Church, 5300 Eastern Ave. SE, Albuquerque, NM 87108 (SW corner of San Mateo & Eastern), Friday, December 18, 2009, at 2:00 p.m. The family asks that In lieu of flowers donations be made in Jeans name to The ALSA-NM, 1730 Montano Road NW, Suite B-1, Albuquerque, NM 87107.
