Joyce Miller

Joyce Miller age 104 of Bloomfield NM, formerly of Greeley, Co. passed away on March 14, 2010. She was born in Hudson S.D. to Melvin and Leli Cable. Joyce and her family moved to the LaPorte and Ft. Collins, Co. area when she was 12. She married Jack Miller in1931 and was his beloved wife , friend and partner for 67 years. Together they enjoyed hunting, fishing, and jeeping. They lived in Greeley for 51 years. Joyce worked at the Northern Colorado Hospital for 15 years and volunteered for the Red Cross for many years. In 1998, Joyce moved to Bloomfield to be close to her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jack Miller, son in law Ron Orr three sisters and one brother. Joyce is survived by her daughter Sharon Orr, granddaughter Jenni VanHerwaarden and husband Braum. And great grandchildren J VanHerwaarden and Travis VanHerwaarden.
