Joyce A. Schild

SCHILD- Dr. Joyce A. Schild, age 78 of Albuquerque and Chicago, died Monday, April 26, 2010 in Albuquerque. Survivors include her husband of 36 years, John Hegber, stepdaughter, Jean and husband Michael Baker, grandchildren, Katelyn, Airelle and Sarah, sister, Dolores and husband Richard Ryder and brother, George and wife Joan Schild. Her parents, Frank and Helen Schild are deceased. Dr. Schild graduated from University of Illinois Medical School in 1956 and ran her own private practice, specializing in ear nose and throat for twenty years with both Presbyterian and Children’s Memorial Hospital. After leaving private practice, Dr. Schild returned to University of Illinois, this time as a professor with the ENT Medical School.
