Juan Ledesma

July 18, 1938 — January 7, 2026

On the 18th of July 1938, Juan Delgado Ledesma was born in Ciudad Chihuahua, Mexico, to his loving parents Solidad and Guillermo. He was one of many siblings and had one surviving sister, Nellie (Manuela), who lives in Oregon. In the early sixties, Juan immigrated to the United States, where he began a family with his first wife, Yolanda Rodriquez. They had four children: Juan Junior, Lydia, Maria, and Linda, whom Juan was immensely proud of.

Juan was a passionate carpenter, dedicating himself not only to his work but also to building and fixing various projects in his spare time. He took great pride in maintaining and improving all their homes. Later, Juan married Yolanda Mendez, and they had another loving son, Julian.

As his career progressed, Juan eventually settled in Chula Vista, California, where he spent the majority of his life. His days were filled with frequent visits from his children and numerous trips back to New Mexico. He remained close to his sister Nellie and her husband Lloyd, spending winters with them in Yuma, Arizona.

Throughout his full life, Juan enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time outdoors. He was incredibly proud of all his children and grandchildren. Upon returning to New Mexico, Juan made new friends at the Fairwinds, where he lived out his final years.

Juan Delgado Ledesma's life was marked by his love for his family, his dedication to his craft, and his joy in the simple pleasures of life. He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, love, and cherished memories.
