Juan R. Olguin

Juan R. Olguin beloved husband, father & “Papa'' born April 15, 1948 to his late parents Juan C.T. & Cecilia Olguin. Also awaiting his heavenly arrival his precious daughter Cassandra. He served his country in The Air Force during Vietnam. “Rick’s” life revolved around the love of his life, his wife Rebecca & raising his family along with any & ALL in need of family or a home.

After retiring from NM CID his biggest joy was attending his grandchildren’s sporting events which included lots of family road trips. He especially enjoyed fishing, hunting & all things outdoors. Rick is survived by his devoted wife Rebecca, children; Carmella (Vince) Trujillo, John (Tori) Olguin, Chris Martinez, Melanie (Kris) Harris, Brian Olguin, grandchildren: Marcus, Bella, Karah, Ivy, Alex, Abbey, godchildren; Miguel Gomez, Felecia Fernandez, Aidan Romero, Karah Martinez, siblings; Mary Agnes, Arlene, Theresa, Dan, Martha, David, Robert, Pam & many nieces, nephews, cousins & “friends'' considered family.

Our family would like to extend special thanks to the VA renal ward & NE Heights rehab staff for all the care they provided “OUR HERO.”

Rosary and mass will be held November 8th beginning at 8 a.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church 9502 4th St NW 87114. Interment service immediately following at Sandia Memory Gardens 9500 San Pedro Dr NE 87113.
