Juan Luis Segura

Juan L. Segura, age 77, passed away Sunday, May 7, 2023, in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  He was born April 20, 1946, in Albuquerque, NM to Juan Estevan Segura and Gregorita Martinez Segura.  After graduating High School, Juan enlisted in the United States Air Force and proudly served our Country for six years.  He served in Vietnam and was a recipient of the SAEMR SDG – 508, RVCM AFM: 900-3, NDSM AFM: 900-3 and AFGCM AFM: 900-3 medals, and decorations.  In addition to his military career, Juan enjoyed computers, music, games, You Tube, spending time with his grandchildren and family, watching football, dining out and vacations.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Juan E. Segura and Gregorita Martinez Segura; sisters, Esther Gutierrez, Judy Segura, Rose Segura, Marylou Segura, and Paula Bench.

Juan is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Patricia Montoya Segura; sons, Robert Segura and John Segura; daughter, Linda Griego, sister and brother-in-law, Martha and Ramon Vega; sister, Joy Archuleta; brother, Sam Segura; grandchildren, Sophia, Isabella, Bobby, Ember, Anai, Kimbra, Ryan, Giddeon, Gannon and Liana; great-grandchildren, Mariah, Milli and Kyrie; and pet dog, Major.

Services will be held Friday, May 19, 2023, 10:00 a.m., Daniels Family Funeral Services – Southern Chapel, 2400 Southern Blvd. SE, Rio Rancho, New Mexico 87124.
