Juanita Cox

COX - Juanita Cox, age 91, beloved mother and grandmother, completed her journey on this earth and entered into Eternal Life with the Lord, Friday, December 31, 2010. She was born in Acalde, NM and was a resident of Albuquerque. She was preceded in death by her parents, Efren D. Valdez and Virginia Martinez; her husband; son; daughter-in-law; nephews; and grandchildren. Mrs. Cox is survived by her loving children, Robert “Wayne” Cox, Ellen J. Apodaca and husband Ramon, A. Bruce Cox, Alice M. Lujan; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews; and other numerous relatives and friends. Juanita will be greatly missed by all. A rosary will be recited Monday, January 10, 2011 at 8:30 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 11:30 a.m. Casket Bearers will be David W. Cox, Joe Chavez, Nestor Villa, David Cox, Mike Ulibarri, Jr., Johnnie Montoya, and Brian Lujan. Honorary Bearers will be Crystal Apodaca, Jamie Lujan, Theresa Montoya, Jessica Cox, Veronica Ulibarri, and Lisa Cox.
