Juanita E. Sandoval of Albuquerque, NM passed away on July 4, 2010. She was born in Lordsburg, NM, July 24, 1932, where she was fondly known as "sister". She was preceded in death by her parents, Dolores and Cornelio Ozeta; by her husband, Juan M. Sandoval; and her brother, Valentine Silvas. From a young age, Juanita was always creative, resourceful and skillful with her hands. She made quilts, afghans, doilies and other crafts. She attended the New Mexico School for the Deaf where she excelled in art, home economics and sports. She could always light up a room with her smile and sense of humor. Juanita was a dedicated wife mother and a loving grandmother. She is survived by her three children; Mike Sandoval and wife, Cindy, Sandra Sandoval and husband, Chris Nelson, Ronnie Sandoval and wife Rosemary; granddaughters, Sara, Myra, Amelia, Marisa and Adrianna; two great grand daughters, Abigail and Madeline; siblings, Barbara Guerrero, Josephine Chavez, Cressie De La Garza, Berna Arambula, Cornelio Ozeta, Jr and Frank Ozeta. Juanita is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. A celebration of Juanita's life will be held at Daniels Family Funeral Service Carlisle Chapel, 3113 Carlisle Boulevard, NE at 11:00a.m. on Saturday, july 10, 2010. Juanita's care has been entrusted to Daniels Family Funeral Service.
