Juanita "Jenny" Vallejos

Juanita "Jenny" Vallejos, age 80, beloved and devoted mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully, Friday, June 6, 2014, while surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Boone, CO to the late Toribia and Juan Lira, and was a resident of Albuquerque, NM. Jenny enjoyed shopping, cooking, dancing and camping with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymundo E. Vallejos. Jenny is survived by her loving children, Ray Vallejos and wife Jana, Pat Vallejos and wife Laura, George Vallegos and wife Anita Mitchell, Debra Roybal and husband Lonnie, Linda Mansell, Judy Vallejos and her companion, Manuel Rodriguez; fifty grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter. Also surviving are her siblings, Cerillo Lira, Sabvino Lira, Juilian Perez, Robert Lira, Charles, Lira, Frances Garcia, Mary Gonzales and Alice Lira; and other numerous relatives and friends. Jenny will be greatly missed by her family and by those whose hearts she touched. Visitation will be held Sunday, June 8, 2014 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services - Alameda Mortuary, 9420 Fourth St. NW, where a Rosary will be recited at 4:00 p.m. Final Viewing will be Monday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. at Alameda Mortuary. Service of Christian Burial will be Monday at 9:00 a.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 9502 Fourth St., NW. Inurnment will take place at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery. Casket Bearers will be Salomon Rael, Manuel Vallejos, Joshua Vallejos, Francisco Roybal, Luis Roybal, and David Rael.
