Age 74, passed away Friday, October 2, 2015. She was born in Questa, New Mexico on June 7, 1941, to Clovis and Cordelia (Gallegos) Cortez. She was a Rio Rancho resident for 26 years. Judy loved gardening and was very fond of all plants. She enjoyed watching hummingbirds, photography and reading. She was a member of the Calvary Rio Rancho Church and her faith was very strong. She was preceded in death by her, husband, Pedro Miramontez and her parents. Judy is survived by her children, Elaine Murillo of Albuquerque, NM, Chris Archuletta of Albuquerque, NM, Raymond Archuletta of Mesa, AZ and Victoria Miramontez of Chicago, IL. grandchildren, Chris, Joshua, Lisa Marie, Michele, Matthew, Vanessa, Natasha, Jasmine and Angeleah; great grandchildren, Christian, Jordan and Lilly; siblings, Frances Velasquez of Farmington, NM, Mary Lou Montoya of Walsenburg, CO and Leroy Cortez of Aztec, NM. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12, 2015 from 10:00am to 11:00am at Daniels Family Funeral Services Sara Rd. Chapel. Service will follow at 11:00am at Sara Rd. Chapel.
