Julian A. Madrid, 69, of Farmington, passed away Friday, July 2, 2010 in Farmington. He was born February 20, 1941 in Los Ojos, New Mexico to Julian and Juanita Madrid. He was raised in Los Ojos until he joined the U.S. Army in the 101st Airborne Division at Ft. Campbell, Kentucky. After serving he married Bea and moved to Las Vega, Nevada in 1963. In 1967, he became a barber and this was his profession for 32 years. He always maintained strong family ties in New Mexico and yearned to be there. In 1995 he returned to his beloved land of enchantment. He was an avid fisherman and was the focal point of many fish stories amongst family and friends. He was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, relative and friend Julian was preceded in death by his father, mother and sister, Jane. He is survived by his wife Bea, 3 children, Felix (Norma), Paul (Laura) and Nicole. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren, Andres, Felix, Celesse, Paul, Veronica, Fabian, Roberto and Christian, two brothers, Leo (Isabel and Bernie and companion Carla along with many loved cousins, nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.
