Julio
Duran
March 10, 1974 – June 4, 2026
To respect Julio’s wishes, we ask friends and family to refrain from posting about his passing on social media and instead share memories directly with those who knew him. Julio valued genuine connection, and honoring this request reflects the spirit in which he lived.
Julio Duran passed away peacefully on June 4th, 2026, after a courageous battle with kidney cancer. He lived with a fierce love for his family, a resilient spirit, and a heart that never stopped giving.
Being a father was Julio’s greatest joy and proudest role. His children, Julian and Isabella, were the center of his world, and he loved, hugged, and kissed them as much as humanly possible. He is also survived by his wife, Noel Duran, the love of his life. Julio was a devoted and attentive husband, whose relationship with Noel was built on laughter, partnership, and a commitment to lifting each other through every season of life. He is also survived by his father, Joe Duran, with whom he shared a deep and enduring bond. Among the many important relationships in his life, was the one he shared with his mother-in-law, Priscilla. She was a constant source of love, wisdom, and support, and he cherished the close connection they built over the years.
Julio’s loyalty ran deep. If he loved you, he loved you forever—whether it was his family, his friends, or his unwavering devotion to the Denver Broncos through every season, good or bad.
That same passion carried into one of the great loves of his life: music. From Ozzy Osbourne to Pantera, music fueled him, lifted him, and helped him face life’s challenges head on. He turned it up when times were hard, and celebrated with it when times were good. It was the soundtrack of his life and a source of strength throughout his years.
Later in life, Julio returned to school and entered the medical field, an accomplishment he was deeply proud of. He loved his work and the people he worked alongside, who became an extension of his family.
Above all else, Julio poured his heart into the life he built with those he loved. He created a home that was warm, safe, and full of laughter, adored his dogs, LaToya and Chico, and taught those around him the value of patience, resilience, and facing challenges even when plans changed.
Julio will be deeply missed as a loving husband, devoted father, caring son, and loyal friend. He loved endlessly, and his spirit will live on in all who had the privilege of knowing him.
You may visit with Julio and pay respects to his family on June 19th, from 3PM - 5PM at the Daniel’s on Carlisle. In celebration of Julio’s life you are invited to wear your favorite concert/band t-shirt or Bronco gear. Any other football team representation (shirt, hat, jersey) is strongly discouraged to be worn to this event.
