Justin David Sanchez-Martinez

Justin D. Sanchez Martinez, 37, passed away unexpectedly on January 6, 2026. Born in Santa Fe, NM on December 20, 1988, to Sandra J Sanchez and Kevin A Martinez. He was preceded in death by his father Kevin A Martinez.

He is survived by his mother Sandra Sanchez Husler and stepfather Joseph Husler of Albuquerque, his children, Jaydlyn, Ayden and Tilly; siblings, Tamara J. Martinez and Kevin J. Martinez, Jr. of Albuquerque; maternal grandparents, Leroy Sanchez of Albuquerque, Irene Sanchez of Belen; paternal grandparents, Rick and Patricia Lewis of Rio Rancho; uncles, Joseph (Tania) Sanchez, of Nambe, Richard X Martinez of Arizona, Jamie S Martinez of Rio Rancho, Ryan Lewis of Massachusetts, and Bryan Romero of Arizona; Aunt, Anna Sanchez Roybal (Miguel Leyba) of Albuquerque.

Justin will be best remembered for his big heart and the way his vibrant personality, filled a room. He was a good natured and kind person who was often thinking of ways he could lift others up. Justin found joy in the outdoors, especially swimming and fishing. Justin’s heart always drove him towards blossoming, growing and making new friends. He was skilled in electronics and automotive technology. Currently, he was pursuing an associate degree in biblical studies at Conviction Ministries in Albuquerque. Justin loved our Lord Jesus and we rest in the promise we will see him again. His friends and family will miss him deeply. We find peace knowing he rests in the everlasting arms of Jesus’ comforting embrace.

Viewing and visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Friday, January 16, 2026, Daniels Family Funeral Services - Sara Chapel, 4310 Sara Rd. SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124.  

A Memorial Service, Interment and Reception honoring Justin's life will be held on February 6, 2026, Daniels Family Funeral Services - Sara Chapel.  (Time to be determined)
