Karey Sue Harper

Age 75, passed away at home with her family at her side on Monday, December 5, 2022. She was born in Phillipsburg, New Jersey on January 11, 1947, to Francis and Sadie Miller.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, Francis, and Sadie Miller; her brother, David Miller; and her sister, Judie Stocker.

Karey is survived by her beloved husband, Robert L. Harper Sr. of Albuquerque, NM; her sister, Jane Miller-Murphy; her sons Robert L Harper Jr and Richard A. Harper of Albuquerque, NM; her daughter-in-law, Tane M. Harper of Albuquerque, NM. Along with her 4 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and pet, Breanna.

Karey attended Washington Highschool and graduated in 1964. She married her beloved husband on March 10, 1962, in Washington, NJ, and have been married for 60 years. She loved playing Mahjong and traveling with her husband and sisters.

Karey was a loving wife, sister, mother, and grandmother, who enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She will be sincerely missed.

A burial will take place at Musconetcong Valley Church in Hampton, NJ early spring.

 In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Karey’s honor to Alzheimer’s Research.
