Katherine Y. Cuellar

CUELLAR - Katherine Y. Cuellar, 93, passed away peacefully at home on January 25, 2010 at the age of 93, while surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Tularosa, New Mexico, November 30, 1916, daughter of Juanita D. Young and Pete Young. Katherine was employed by the Chiordi family for most of her working life. She is preceded in death by her sister, Tillie Greigo. Katherine leaves behind her sister, Flora Baca (Ralph). She is survived by her children, Elizabeth Meyer-Gebelin, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Evelyn Colarelli, of Lafayette, Louisiana, Tomas Garcia, of Thousand Oaks, California, Barbara Layton (Bob), of Chino, California, Lorraine Johnson, of Camarillo, California, Rosemary Maldonado (Tony), of Albuquerque, New Mexico; 14 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild, and beloved numerous relatives and friends.
