Katherine (Candy) G. Hise, of Boise Idaho, passed away peacefully on December 3rd, 2025. She was surrounded by her loving husband, family, and friends. Candy loved her retirement and her time at the casino.

Candy was preceded in death by her father, Gene Thornton; widowed husband Rusty Hise; and mother-in-law, Ida Martinez. She is survived by her beloved husband, John Martinez; mother, Betty Gardner; daughters, Heather Hise, Andrea Marie Biggs and husband David; son, Mike Hise; cherished grandchildren, Jason Hise, Austin Hise, Brandon Hise, Dylan Hise, Anthony McCullough, Davion McCullough, Esperanza Biggs, and sister; Lizabeth Jordon and husband Kelly, and brother; Fredrick (Bubba) Wienald and wife Susan, brother-in-laws; Benny Martinez and wife Pat, David Martinez and wife Susan; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; as well as her loving extended brothers, Dennis Baca and wife Juanita, Steve Becerra and wife Pauline, who supported us during the most difficult times.

Candy will be forever missed and lovingly remembered for her warmth, devotion, spirit, and strength in which she lived her life.

All are warmly invited to join in celebrating her life at a Mass on January 30th, 2026 at 9:00am at St. Therese Catholic Church, 3424 4th St NW, Albuquerque NM 87107 with reception to follow.
