Kathleen Susan Holland Beloved Mother, Grandmother, Daughter, and Sister Kathleen “Kathy” Susan Holland passed away peacefully at the age of 67 on June 13th, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. She was a devoted mother, cherished grandmother, beloved daughter, and loyal sister, whose vibrant spirit touched all who knew her. Kathleen was born on November 8th, 1957, in San Angelo, Texas. She lived in many states before settling in New Mexico. Kathleen married Charles Francis Holland Jr. on August 26th, 1978, and they later moved to Rio Rancho, New Mexico, to raise their three daughters. Kathleen was a passionate person with many interests, including bowling and fishing. She enjoyed visiting Red River with her family to fish and venture outdoors. She was also a fierce card player and a lifelong lover of movies and pop culture, always up-to-date on the latest films and trivia. More than anything, Kathleen was a fighter — resilient, brave, and strong. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles Francis Holland Jr., and her mother, Patricia Kane. She is survived by her three daughters: Leslie, Alexandra, and Shannon, and her sons-in-law: Joey, Sam, and Michael. Her legacy lives on in her ten adoring grandchildren: Chaz, Joseph, Xavier, Alijah, Kai, Anniston, Charlotte, Xander, Bennett, and Sadie. Kathleen is also survived by her four siblings — Karen, Margot, Richard, and Sharlene — and by her father and stepmother, Louis and Barbara Leurig. Kathleen will be remembered for her strength, kindness, and unwavering love for her family. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
