Kathryn Virginia Schreck

Kathryn Virginia "Kay" Schreck, 89, of Aztec, died on Friday, December 24, 2010, in Aztec. She was born February 18, 1921, in Pikeville, KY, to George and Frances Roberts. She came to Aztec in 1987, from La Crescenta, CA. She was an avid golfer and a former member of Hidden Valley Golf Course. Kay was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Schreck, in 1989; her brother, James Roberts; and sister, Mary Warren. She is survived by daughters, Virginia (Thomas) Walworth of Crescent City, CA, Melissa (Gary) Fishbaugh of Dundee, NY, JoAnne Smith of Paso Robles, CA, and Edwilyn (Tim) O'Brien of Durango, CO; sisters, Mildred Kennedy of Tucson, AZ, and Georga Mummert of Phoenix, AZ,; nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
