Kay Alden Harris

Kay Alden Harris, 68, of Flora Vista, died Thursday, July 8, 2010, in Farmington. Kay was born September 14, 1941, in Lovell, WY. After high school, he served in the Air Force for four years and two in the reserves. He settled in Williston, ND, where he married Hedy. He started there in the oil field business living in Williston, Casper, WY, and Farmington. He worked for a year in Kuwait before retiring. He kept active helping many of his friends with their various projects. He was always fixing vehicles and built several utility trailers. His dog Zoey was constantly at his side and loved to ride in his pickup. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ethan and Dora Harris, and son David. He is survived by his wife Hedy, of Flora Vista, and son Rex (Elizabeth); grandsons, Michael and Mark of Berthoud, CO, and Kevin Books, of Houston; brother, Gary (Dede) of Lovell, WY, and sister, Della Ross, of Mesa, AZ; uncle, Lemoin McArthur, of Garden Valley, ID; aunt Clara Eaton, of Grafton, WV; and numerous nieces and nephews.
