Kee Edison

Funeral services for Kee Chee Edison, 85, will be 10 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 7, at Lukachukai Catholic Church. Burial will be in family plot, Tsaile. Edison died Aug. 5, 2010, in Chinle. He was born June 15, 1925, in Tsaile, into the Red Bottom People Clan for the Towering House People Clan. Edison was a well known medicine man. Survivors include his daughters, Leona Edison, Lynette Benally, Jean Marie Bahe. Edison was preceded in death by his parents, Ayoo Anilneezi, Zonnie C. Nez; son, Timothy Edison; brothers, John Chee Edison, Wallace Chee Edison, Sage Chee; sisters, Betty Chee Gray, Marie Chee Smith, Maggie Marie Smith. Pallbearers will be Alex Nez, Mike D. Bahe, Michalson Bahe, Mitchell Bahe and other family members. The family will receive relatives and friends at Yazzie Bingo Hall, Tsaile, following services. Tse Bonito Mortuary is in charge of arrangements
