The family of Kenneth Lionel Hodges is saddened to announce his untimely passing on June 10, 2024. After a short, brave battle, Ken succumbed to pancreatic cancer.

Ken was born September 2, 1948 in Quanah, TX. He grew up in Albuquerque, NM where he attended Sandia High School, the University of New Mexico and graduated from the University of Albuquerque with an undergraduate degree in Business Administration. Subsequently he attended NM Highlands University graduating with a Masters in Business Administration. With his education as an underpinning, he began a lengthy and distinguished career managing Aerospace manufacturing operations in Albuquerque as well as in several locations in the mid-West and on the West Coast.

Ken is preceded in death by his father and stepmother, Virgil and Peggy Hodges; his mother, Mildred Hodges, sister Charlotte Brannan and brother James Wade. 

Ken is survived by his wife, Janet (Jan) Hodges, of the family home in Rio Rancho, NM. He is also survived by Debbie Johnson (Sister) of Belen, NM; Steve Gilson (brother) of Toppenish, WA; Sloan Washburn (nephew) and Desiree Washburn (niece), along with their respective spouses and children of Belen, NM; Kaycee Stahl-McCombs (niece) along with her husband and children of Ruidoso, NM; Gavin Gilson (nephew) and his family of Midland, TX; Rebekah Sittman (niece), her children and grandson who live in nearby AZ communities; and Kevin Bezner (nephew) and Tracy Bezner (nephew) of the Phoenix, AZ area. 

Ken’s wishes were to be cremated with no services to be held in his memory. Instead, the family asks that he be remembered in whatever manner that his friends, former co-workers, and extended family members feel is most appropriate.
