Kenneth Seabrook, a 96-year-old resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 6, 2025, at the Raymond G. Murphy VA Hospice Facility. Ken served his country honorably in the United States Air Force from October 1954 to August 1958. During the Cold War era, he was stationed at Otis Air Force Base on Cape Cod, Massachusetts.
Ken was born on December 13, 1928, in Chicago, Illinois. A few years later, his family relocated to London, Ontario, Canada. He was the middle child of three rambunctious boys who tragically lost their mother, Velma, when they were very young.
As an adult, Ken resided in Canandaigua, New York, where he worked as an appliance repairman and journeyman electrician. After retiring, he decided to return to work and secured a position as a Refrigeration Technician at Burger King’s various locations.
Ken lived a full and enriching life. He was a devoted husband and father, cherishing the time he spent with his family. One of his passions was riding his motorcycle, and he was a member of a local Christian Motorcycle Club ministry in New York. Through this club, he had many enjoyable outings with his fellow members. One of his favorite memories was riding his motorcycle from New York to Alaska with a friend from his Air Force days. Ken also made it a point to attend church regularly and participate in Bible studies.
Ken is survived by his brothers, Jack (Shirley) Seabrook, who resides in Rushville, New York, and Dale (Gena) Seabrook, who lives in Ontario, Canada. He also has a sister, Myrrl Gwalchmai, who also resides in Ontario, Canada. Ken is also the father of four children: Lynn (Eric) Donohue, who lives in Clifton Springs, New York; David (Diane) Seabrook, who lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico; Karen Walker, who lives in Brockport, New York; and Gayle (Rich) Dickinson, who lives in Hemlock, New York. Ken also has seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. In addition to his children, he also leaves behind his stepdaughters, Karen (Robert) Sherrill, who lives in Houston, Texas, and Helen (Chuck) Price, who lives in El Cajon, California.
Ken was preceded in death by his first wife, Venita V. Seabrook, his second wife, Marion Hess Seabrook, his father, Francis (Frank) Seabrook, his mother, Velma Seabrook, his brother, Francis (Frank) Seabrook, and his stepdaughter, Darlene Hess.
