Kerry Adam Lewiecki

Kerry Adam Lewiecki, born July 23, 1982, graduate of Valley High School, Bates College and University of Oregon School of Law, died unexpectedly on June 24, 2010, at the age of 27. He is survived by his parents, Dr. E. Michael Lewiecki and Maura Lewiecki; his fiancée, Dr. Sara A. Miller, sisters; Katherine Lewiecki and Dr. Amy Buono, brother, Brendan Lewiecki and a large and very loving family. Since childhood, Kerry sought to minimize inequities and injustices in the world. He was a peacemaker and problem-solver. His friends went to him for help in navigating difficult times. He was determined to make the world a better place through many acts of kindness. He made the day a little brighter for everyone he encountered. Kerry was the first to volunteer to help with any task. In tribute to his legacy of helping others, please consider a donation to Habitat for Humanity, his favorite service organization, where he worked for a year after graduation from college. A memorial gathering was held on Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at 4:00pm at the Carlisle Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Service and reception followed. Services for Kerry were entrusted to Daniels Family Funeral Service, 3113 Carlisle Boulevard, NE.
