Kevin F. Santry

Kevin F. Santry, 57, of Albuquerque, NM, formerly of Jersey City, NJ, went to be with the Lord on August 9, 2021, surrounded by his family. He joins his parents, William James and Rose Ann Santry (formerly Spellman). He is survived by his wife, Kathy, and their children, Lisa, Rachael, William, Lauren, Rebecca, and Bryan, and grandchildren Addison, Michael, Aiden, Connor, William, and Hannah. He is also survived by his sisters, Colleen Pennill and Roseann Santry, and a host of nieces and nephews. Kevin loved horses and horse racing, loved dogs better than most humans, advocated fiercely for the homeless and served as a voice for those without one. He favored his NY-style pizza, lived his dream of becoming "the hot dog man" with a Sabrett hot dog cart for fun. He loved classic black-and-white movies, loved and starred in some crazy horror movies, and could concoct a limerick about anything at any time. He was a passionate Jersey-born Irish boy through-and-through who loved his momma true and cared for his wheelchair-bound father, taking on the role of provider as a preteen in his Jersey City neighborhood. He loved and was loved deeply by so many. Santry and his shenanigans will be sorely missed. Services will be held privately in New Mexico. The family requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in his name to the Barrett House, YDI, AHCH, or any other community outreach program of your choosing.
