KORA MAE CHAPMAN, 86, of Farmington, passed away Friday, May 21, 2010 at the San Juan Rehab Center in Farmington. Kora was born August 13, 1923 in Ashland, Ohio the daughter of James L. Park and Zella Korns Parks. Kora was a great cook, in her earlier years she enjoyed sewing. Recently she took up reading, crossword puzzles and collecting bells. Kora was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Farmington 4th Ward. She’ll be greatly missed by all her family and friends. Kora is survived by her daughters Florence Lutz, Pat Huggins and husband Kenneth, Kay Widdison and husband Wid, Rosalee Miller, Barbara Vaughn and husband Virgil, sons Edward Chapman and wife Ina and Robert Chapman and wife Diane; 26 grandchildren, 58 great-grandchildren, and 21 great-great grandchildren and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her former husband Goldie Chapman in 2000, and two daughters Goldie Walker and Mary Glenn. Cremation will take place and memorial services will be held Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Knudsen Street Chapel, 1310 East 25th Street in Farmington with Bishop Randy Foutz conducting. Mrs. Chapman will be interred at Greenlawn Cemetery in Farmington. Honorary pallbearers are Kenneth Huggins, Steve Glenn, Michael Jackson, Brian Jackson, Steven Glenn, Fred Rector, John Rector, Darren Rector, and Norman Rector.
