Kristopher Morgan, age 78, well-known adventurer, passed away on August 4, 2026. Kristopher was known for his many accomplishments including attending Woodstock and marching in the civil rights movement (including in Selma, Alabama). Throughout his creative life as a disc jockey, actor, writer, producer and digital creator, Kristopher constantly pushed the boundaries in order to engage others in looking at life through a different lens. He was an avid Star Trek fan and rose to the rank of commodore through the Star Trek fan club.

 Kristopher is survived by his brothers, Roy and Michael Melton, his nephews Brian and Cody Melton, and nieces Shannon Brun, Margo Hobbs and Sarah Melton. Kristopher also touched many lives through his Baha’i faith community and many other people he called his friends.

 A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 13 at 11:00 am at Fairview Memorial Park, 700 Yale Blvd, SE, Albuquerque, NM.
