Kyler Ryan Washington Beaty, 17, of Kirtland, beloved son, brother, grandson, cousin, nephew, and friend, arrived in the presence of God on Thursday, June 24, 2010. Kyler was born February 14, 1993, and spent his 17 years making a positive impact on family and friends in the Farmington area and beyond. Kyler loved his God, he loved life and he loved people; a real man with a big heart. The impact of his life is best reflected in the outpouring of love and sympathy to Kyler's family from hundreds of friends, fellow students and teammates who gathered at a candlelight vigil held on the Piedra Vista football field Thursday evening. Kylers coaches and mother summed up the life of Kyler at the vigil; a man who positively touched a large cross-section of people throughout San Juan valley; an example that many of the rest of us can only hope to be able to follow.
A memorial of Kyler would not be complete without sharing his faith in Jesus Christ, his love for football and his teammates on the Panther teams. Because of God's grace, this is not Kyler's or the Panthers "last hurrah." Friends and family may gather to celebrate Kyler's life at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, June 29, at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 211 W. 20th Street in Farmington, New Mexico Kyler will be interred in Kirtland/Fruitland Cemetery, next to his grandfather, Steve Arnold.
