LaDawn (Anderson) Waite of Farmington, passed away Friday, Nov. 26, 2010, at UNMH in Albuquerque. LaDawn was born Dec. 19, 1938, in Logan, Utah. She attended Utah State University where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education. While attending the university, she met Albert Waite. They were married Dec. 28, 1960, at the LDS temple in Logan and began their family. In 1962, the family moved to Columbia, Mo., to continue their education. In 1977, the family moved to Farmington. LaDawn and Albert were happily married for 49 years, 11 months. LaDawn was preceded in death by her parents, Marion and Elizabeth Anderson; in-laws, Ray and Marjorie Waite; two brothers-in-law, a nephew and a niece. She is survived by her loving husband, Albert; her children, Kimberly Waite, Beth and Frank Schumacher, Eric and Valerie Waite, Kelly and Ken Jung, Steve and Amber Waite, Sam and Shannon Waite; 17 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. LaDawn was a loving, gracious, charitable wife, mother and friend. She touched many lives by her selfless service. Viewing will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 1, at Brewer, Lee & Larkin Funeral Home, 103 E. Ute St. in Farmington.
