Laura Madelyn Cordova

Laura Madelyn Cordova, age 70, passed away Monday, September 19, 2022 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  She was born February 3, 1952 in Raton, New Mexico to Bennie and Beatrice Cordova.  She was employed by First Financial Credit Union for 15 years after having retired after 20 years from Quest (Mountain Bell).  Laura enjoyed quilts, crochets, and being a charitable volunteer.  She was a member of Legion of Mary.

She is survived by her husband of eleven years, Lee Stephens of Rio Rancho, New Mexico; son, Brian Gonzales; daughter, Joy Huckaby; grandchildren; Avory Gonzales, Aurora Gonzales, Sara Huckaby, Jordan Huckaby; and her pet dog, Chica.

Services will begin with Recitation of the Rosary, Friday, September 23, 2022, 10:00 AM, St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1502 Sara Rd., Rio Rancho, NM 87124.  Mass will follow at 10:30 AM.
